This grape of Burgundian origin has adapted well to the South Tyrolean climate as well as to its soils. It is sourced from several vineyards within San Michele & Caldaro districts at elevations between four hundred to five hundred meters above sea level. Straw yellow with light greenish veins, perfumes strongly marked by the fruit, in particular pear and apple. Soft, fine and elegant. An uncomplicated aperitif wine, it is drunk willingly during parties or on special occasions and events. It goes perfectly with delicious appetizers like ricotta pralines on tomato carpaccio.
