2013 Spinning Top Pinot Noir

Region:
Marlborough, New Zealand, New Zealand

Tasting Notes

Taste notes:

The 2013 Vintage was spectacular for Marlborough. The summer and autumn seasons were warm and dry. This enabled the fruit to ripen evenly and steadily. The 2013 Spinning Top Pinot Noir shows a lively crimson color. Classically Marlborough, this a fruit driven style of red current and blackberries interlinked with rich spice and fresh plum. This wine has a generous palate structure and ripe tannins balanced with the reserved use of new French barriques. Natural fruit sweetness is balanced with a delightful savory finish.
