Tasting Notes

Taste notes:

Such is the nature of this small plot old vine plantings scattered around the charming town of La Aguilera, they keep providing fruit of exceptional quality. The youthful Winemaker Ceasar Mate applies the principle of minimal intervention when it comes to crafting a wine from such high quality fruit.

This wine exhibits classic Tempranillo characters of spicy red and blue fruits, with hints of plum and blackberry adding to lush and layered flavors on the palate. I still find it hard to understand how Ceasar and his young team get such a exceptional wine in a bottle & packaged up at such an affordable price. The secret is the mortgage free vines.
