2007 Heathcote II "Myola" Cabernet Merlot

Region:
Heathcote, Victoria, Australia

Tasting Notes

Taste notes:

A blend of 30% merlot, 25% cabernet franc, 23% cabernet sauvignon and 22% shiraz) Saturated ruby color. Captivating, floral-driven aromas of red- and blackcurrant, rose oil, spicecake, smoky herbs and licorice. Suave on entry, then sappy and chewy in the middle, with powerful, deeply concentrated dark berry flavors and subtle floral and mineral elements adding complexity. The minerality builds on the finish, which is firm and impressively energetic.
