30th October 2008 STEPHEN TANZER'S INTERNATIONAL WINE CELLARNew Releases from Australia, Part 2
Comment: Pale yellow. Racy, finely etched citrus and orchard fruit aromas are complemented by dusty minerals and pink peppercorn. A mix of nervy citrus and rounder melons on the palate, with tangy minerality adding lift and cut. Finishes with repeating melon and grapefruit notes and good persistence. Author:Josh Reynolds

2007 BLACK BILLY PINOT GRIS
9th January 2008 WINE ENTHUSIASTPear and melon aromas are pleasant enough, followed by tart fruit and peppery spice on the palate. But the wine comes across as slightly disjointed, showcasing a broad—almost fat—attack, followed by excessively crisp acids on the finish. - J.C. -
