2007 CRAIGLEE CHARDONNAY
1st August 2010 STEPHEN TANZER'S INTERNATIONAL WINE CELLARLight yellow-gold. Pure, floral aromas of tangerine, pear, anise and nutmeg, with a leesy undertone. Juicy, intensely flavored and fresh, showing deep citrus and orchard fruit flavors and a late note of truffle. Offers uncommon earthiness and smoky pungency for Australian chardonnay, with harmonious acidity giving it a firm spine. Finishes with outstanding length and verve. One of the country's top chardonnays, and built to age. The price makes it a relative bargain as this wine could stand side-by-side with Australia 's icon chardonnays that cost up to five times as much.

2007 CRAIGLEE SHIRAZ
1st July 2010 STEPHEN TANZER'S INTERNATIONAL WINE CELLARVivid ruby. Youthful red and dark berry skin and cherry on the nose, with complicating notes of licorice and smoked meat coming up with aeration. Tangy and sharply focused, offering racy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors framed by silky tannins. Weightier on the finish, which features persistent notes of cassis and cherry-cola. There's lots going on now but I'd give this nicely structured shiraz at least another three or four years of bottle age.

2006 CRAIGLEE CHARDONNAY
1st December 2009 ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATEThe 2006 Chardonnay was aged in mostly older oak, received minimal malolactic fermentation and minimal batonnage. It is light gold-colored with a superb bouquet of toasty oak, mineral, and tropical fruits. Restrained on the palate and elegant, it displays some complexity, ripe flavors, and an appealing style. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. Craiglee is a boutique producer with a total production of 1400 cases.

2006 CRAIGLEE SHIRAZ
1st September 2009 STEPHEN TANZER'S INTERNATIONAL WINE CELLARDeep ruby. Youthfully assertive aromas of black raspberry, cherry, black pepper and smoky Indian spices, along with a subtle olive undertone. Smooth, fleshy and sweet, with vibrant dark berry flavors, velvety tannins and mounting spiciness. Finishes with outstanding clarity and grip, the spicy notes repeating. This is far removed from the stereotype of Australian shiraz, and its track record for cellarworthiness is solid.
