30th August 2010 STEPHEN TANZER'S INTERNATIONAL WINE CELLARSaturated red. Musky, intensely perfumed scents of dried cherry, cassis, violet and smoked meat. Chewy and dense initially, loosening up and gaining flesh with air and offering gently sweet dark fruit flavors and a smoky undertone. Ripe but energetic wine with very good finishing punch and lingering sweetness. Author: Josh Raynolds

30th June 2010 ROBERT PARKER'S THE WINE ADVOCATEThe 2008 Burgoyne’s Block Mourvedre Shiraz Grenache gives a deep garnet color and aromas of warm blackberries, raspberry conserve and cassis with hints of tree bark and tar. Warm berry fruit on the palate is balanced by high acidity with a low to medium level of soft tannins to lend structure. Long in the finish, drink this now to 2014. Author: Lisa Perrotti-Brown
