This win, sourced from vines planted in the 1940s, is named for the northern exposures that catch the sun down under. It’s a complex mesh of dark cherry and raspberry fruit with spice and chocolate. 30th October 2007 ROBERT PARKER'S THE WINE ADVOCATE (#173)The 2005 Grenache “Northern Exposure” offers a generous bouquet of scorched earth, kirsch, strawberry, and black raspberry. Full-bodied, it has excellent breadth and depth, succulent flavors, and a long, savory finish. There is enough structure to support 3-5 years of further development and it should drink well through 2022. The Old Faithful is a brand 50% owned by importer John Larchet, designed to express the quality of McLaren Vale fruit.
