The 2006 Tilenus Tinto Roble is 100% Mencia. Purple-colored, it delivers a fragrant, floral, cherry and raspberry-accented bouquet. On the palate it reveals an elegant personality, a velvety texture, ripe red fruit flavors, spice notes, and a hint of minerality. It has a lengthy finish with no hard edges. It will drink well for another four years and is an excellent introduction to the DO of Bierzo.
