The 2007 Latria is a blend of 50% Garnacha and 50% Carinena aged in oak. Cedar, Asian spices, incense, blackberry, and plum aromas inform the nose of this dense, sweetly-fruited, forward red. It is an excellent value meant for drinking over the next 6-7 years.

The average age of Celler Malondro’s vines is 40 years and among the most elevated in the Montsant DO.(Jay Miller) 89pts

2007 "LATRIA" MONTSANT RED WINE

The 2007 Latria is dark ruby-colored with an alluring bouquet of lavender, crushed rock, incense, espresso, black cherry, and plum. Full-bodied on the palate, it has plenty of spicy black fruit, a plush texture, some structure, and excellent balance. This outstanding value will drink nicely through 2019. Celler Malondro’s vineyards are 50% Garnacha and 50% Carinena harvested as a field blend.
