2005 TILENUS "CRIANZA" MENCIA
30th April ROBERT PARKER’S THE WINE ADVOCATEThe Tilenus wines are 100% Mencia, the indigenous red grape of Bierzo. The 2005 Tinto Roble was aged for 10-12 months in French and American oak and bottled without filtration. Dark ruby in color, it reveals an enticing nose of violets, cherry, and black raspberry. Supple and forward on the palate, it possesses some light tannin and adequate fruit but could use greater depth. The attractive red fruit flavors lead to a moderately long finish. This is a wine to drink over the next 3-4 years. Importer: John Larchet, The World Wine Headquarters, www.worldwinehq.com Email: info@worldwinehq.com Tel: (800) 485 5753

2006 TILENUS "ROBLE" MENCIA
28th February ROBERT PARKER’S THE WINE ADVOCATEThe 2006 Tilenus Tinto Roble is 100% Mencia. Purple-colored, it delivers a fragrant, floral, cherry and raspberry-accented bouquet. On the palate it reveals an elegant personality, a velvety texture, ripe red fruit flavors, spice notes, and a hint of minerality. It has a lengthy finish with no hard edges. It will drink well for another four years and is an excellent introduction to the DO of Bierzo. 2006 ISABEL ESTATE PINOT NOIR
30th October STEPHEN TANZER’S INTERNATIONAL WINE CELLARBright medium red. Musky aromas of wild red berries and smoky minerality. Supple and silky, with a restrained sweetness and a suave texture to the fine-grained raspberry and smoke flavors. Savory, soil-inflected wine with a bit of smoky oak on the back end. I'd drink this within the next couple of years. Importer: John Larchet, The World Wine Headquarters, www.worldwinehq.com Email: info@worldwinehq.com Tel: (800) 485 5753
