Ilegal Reposado is aged for four months in American oak barrels. The barrel aging makes this a great Mezcal to serve to friends who dont like Mezcal. To avoid contaminating the distillate with smoke, they never cook and distill at the same time. 100% natural, Ilegal uses no artificial colors, yeasts, flavors, or additives. Just agave, sun, and time. Caramelized pear and bitter orange on the nose. Clove, butterscotch, and hints of vanilla on the palate.
