On the night of July 20, 1969, we stared at the moon and listened to the radio chatter of the Apollo 11 astronauts. One voice boomed back to the listeners on Earth declaring, Thats one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. This brand focuses on the emotions at play during the American Space Age, producing a grounded authenticity that speaks of the wine inside. After being picked cold in the early morning hours, we follow a rigorous program modeled after the techniques used to produce our favorite southern-France rosés. Whole clusters go directly to into the press upon arrival, and the delicate juice is slowly fermented at ultra-low temperatures en route to early bottling, all in our quest to preserve maximum freshness. With its classic pale pink “eye of the partridge color,” prized by rosé producers in Provence, the 2018 Space Age Rosé delivers an amazingly fresh, vibrant rush of bright aromas of strawberry, rose petal hibiscus and cranberry. The crisp natural acidity keeps these aromas alive and fresh on the palate and through the surprisingly long, fragrant finish.
