Chateau Peyrassol Rose Cuvee Des Commandeurs Rose Provence France 750ml - 10864
Nearly 800 years of winemaking does not make for lazy ownership. Chateau Peyrassol’s highly reputable representation of Provence throughout history has only been increasingly built upon since the 1970’s when Francois Rigord , “La Dame de Peyrassol”, expanded plantings and brought the estate to fame. Beginning in 2001, in the hands of Philippe Austruy and subsequently his nephew Alban Cacarey , the winery has been brought up to modern standards in the winemaking facilities and cellars. All the while continuing to grow their vines with organic standards and respect to the environment. The Chateau Peyrassol Cuvee des Commandeurs Cotes de Provence Rose is composed of the estates younger vines . After a night time harvest to preserve aromatics, they’re destemmed and vinified using the direct-press method in order to extract a delicate rosey hue. The wines are then matured in stainless steel to further preserve freshness. The resulting wine is uber fresh with aromatics of ripe red berries and fresh herbs, with a balanced and refreshing palate. Enjoy with grilled salmon, sushi, or scallops, and fresh young goats cheeses .
