Montalbera Ruche Di Castagnole Monferrato Tradizione 750ml - 1057
Detail
Founded in the early twentieth century, the Montalbera winery is situated at the top of the eponymous Bricco Montàlbera site, which lies between the townships of Grana, Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno. They own an estimated 60% of the Ruchè vines under cultivation, from which they produce several styles of wine. This particular cuvée is fermented in stainless steel tanks with skin contact for ten to twelve days after which it is aged in steel and glass. A great Pinot Noir alternative, it is warm on the palate, harmonious, with good body and balance with slight tannins. Pair with seared salmon with sage butter, local charcuterie, or herb crusted goat’s cheeses . Vegetarian and Vegan friendly!
