Detail
Located in the heart of the Sancerre region, Domaine Delaporte is a family business that has been passed from father to son since the seventeenth century. Since 2010, Vincent Delaportes grandson, Matthieu Delaporte, has been focused on further improving the domaines wine. Very expressive, intense and complex nose with boxwood, rhubarb, black currant, kiwi, and a light vegetal touch (marigold). Bright freshness on the palate, delicate and lively purity. Well balanced and harmonious, it ends with a clean lingering finish. Pair with fresh clams or oysters or chilled Gulf shrimp. The domaine is found in the beautiful village of Chavignol, which is renowned for the goat cheese Crottin de Chavignol.
