Mythical vineyards? Legend has it that the Goddess Ocaso would sing to the sun as it sank behind the mountains as thanks for helping to transform her nectar into the sweetest of all. The winery sits forty miles west of the city of Mendoza in the foothills of the Andes, one of the worlds premier wine growing destinations. Grown in El Valle Escondido at one thousand meters above sea level, this fine example of Cabernet Sauvignon exudes black cherry, dried cassis, and stewed raspberries. The wine is bold and spicy but surprisingly smooth and well balanced.
