Elk Cove has long been one of Willamette Valleys most respected and recognizable wineries. Aiming to make the best cool-climate wines possible, they know that great wines start in the vineyards and now sustainably farm nearly four hundred acres. The Estate Pinot Noir is a combination of five vineyards encompassing all of the major soil types throughout the valley and is a textbook representation of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. The nose is perfumed with red cherry, crushed purple flower and spice. On your first sip, the wine bursts with ripe berry and plums accented by brioche and vanilla. The wine is smooth with fine tannins and bright acidity leading it to a long finish. Enjoy this Pinot with roasted chicken or grilled sausages and creamy cheeses like camembert .
