Louis Jadot has been an iconic producer in Burgundy since the house was founded in the mid 1800’s. They have continually sourced or purchased quality vineyards across the region and have brought the world access to the many expressions of Burgundy as a whole. The Louis Jadot Marsannay is hand harvested and fermented in large vats using native yeasts. The wine then ages for eighteen months in oak barriques made at Jadot’s own cooperage. The Marsannay is vibrant and concentrated with ripe blackberry, plum, and black cherry. There’s a savory edge to the wine that reveals forest floor and conifer characteristics with time. Firm tannins with fresh acidity and a lingering finish. Enjoy with roasted lamb or duck and with nutty cheeses .
