Detail
Brewed with a 150-year-old strain of top-fermenting English yeast, Magic Hat #9 offers a pale ale with a bit less bite. The dry, crisp flavor is a refreshing take on a typical pale ale, with a hint of apricot to round it out. Due to the mysterious combination of flavors, a completely random name, #9, was chosen. The swirly, psychedelic label reflects the unusual nature of this clandestine brew. Based in South Burlington, Vermont, Magic Hat Brewery has been putting on a show with experimental beers since 1994. We recommend serving this beer chilled in a standard pint glass.
