For centuries, farmers made offerings in hope for a miracle or Amalaya for a bountiful harvest. It is located at almost two thousand meters above sea level , in the Calchaqui Valley. Their Malbec is partially aged for eight months in French oak with a hint of Tannat and Petit Verdot. The nose is full of red fruits, spice, and hints of vanilla. Pair with mozzarella pie, potato omelette, asada style beef with roasted vegetables, and dark chocolate. Great with a Monterey Jack style cheese.
